Baseball Outing A HUGE Success!

Brooklyn Cyclones baseball outing success. Cyclones lost 1-0 but we still had a blast.
Dear Brothers,

I am delighted to report that our Annual Baseball Outing on July 27, 2007 was a huge success!
This year, over 110 individuals attended to watch the Brooklyn Cyclones host the Vermont Lake Monsters at Keyspan Park in Coney Island. Salaam Club Members and their guests had access to “our own” private Party Deck with its Special View of the playing field as well as the majestic Atlantic Ocean and an “All You Can Eat” Buffet consisting of potato salad, grilled hot dogs, grilled hamburgers, grilled chicken, brownies, and refreshments. At the end of the game, attendees were treated to a spectacular Coney Island FIREWORKS display!!! Throughout the game, the Cyclones Organization liberally acknowledged the Salaam Club on its marquis scoreboard as well as from the broadcaster’s booth.

In case you are wondering, the Cyclones lost 1-0 in a tight and riveting game that ended in the 10
th inning (extra innings).

Thanks go to the Salaam Club Members and its Board of Directors for hosting this venue and for charitably providing fare for individuals (mostly children and senior citizens) from the following needy organizations:

Arab American Family Support Center (

Brooklyn YMCA (

St. Nicholas Home (
